    始建于1950年的中铁五局建筑公司是世界500强企业中国中铁下属中铁五局集团的子公司，是国家大型建筑施工企业。公司具有建筑工程施工总承包特级、市政公用工程施工总承包壹级、钢结构专业工程承包壹级、建筑装修装饰工程专业承包壹级、地基基础工程专业承包壹级、消防设施工程专业承包壹级、建筑机电安装工程专业承包壹级、建筑幕墙工程专业承包壹级、起重设备安装工程专业承包贰级及建筑行业甲级（设计）资质。现有正式员工1800余人、各类专业技术干部1300余人，其中教授级高工及高级职称100余人；资产总额40余亿元，拥有国内外各种先进机械设备800多台(套)；具有年完成产值100亿元的施工能力，是一支实力雄厚的施工劲旅。 
    自成立以来，公司先后参加过成渝、宝成、贵昆、湘黔、衡广、京九、南昆等40余条铁路干线及成都、武汉、重庆等编组站的建设；先后承建了青藏铁路综合调度楼、南宁东客站、武黄铁路站房、渝利铁路站房、广州地铁、天津地铁、成都地铁、贵阳金阳绿地联盛国际、上海宏泰公寓、贵州天怡豪生五星级大酒店、贵州大学城、贵州荔波县官塘大桥、丽攀高速、贵阳金阳新区体育路、观山北路等地铁、公路、市政、高层建筑工程500余项；还远涉重洋参与国家对外援建，足迹遍布伊拉克、尼日利亚、肯尼亚、汤加、圭亚那、库克等20个国家。先后荣获鲁班奖、国家优质工程奖、国家建设部优质样板工程、全国用户满意工程、国家级优秀QC成果奖、上海市“白玉兰”杯、贵州省“黄果树”杯等省部级优质工程200余项，还荣获了全国优秀施工企业、全国三A诚信单位、全国“安康杯”竞赛优胜单位、贵州省优秀施工企业、贵州省QC小组活动优秀企业、贵州省安全文明施工样板工地、贵州省“青年文明号”等诸多荣誉称号。公司获得国家专利18项，省部级工法26项。公司合同履约率100％，工程质量合格率100％。于2003年通过质量、环境和职业健康安全管理体系“三标一体”认证。通过建精品，创品牌，在市场中树立了良好的企业形象。
